Jerry Yong

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Jerry Yong is a Singapore-based wealth management and family office executive with over 25 years of experience across corporate banking, private banking, and multi-family office advisory. He has a strong regulatory track record with MAS and is known for delivering institutional investment solutions, cross-border structuring, and governance-focused advisory for ultra-high-net-worth families and single-family offices.
Mr Yong is currently Founder of Generations Asset Management (SG) Pte Ltd, a MAS-licensed Multi-Family Office and wealth platform providing investment management, philanthropy, and advisory services.
Mr Yong held senior roles at Nomura, BSI Bank (Switzerland), BNP Paribas/Fortis, DBS, and UOB Group, managing UHNW/SFO portfolios, leading teams, coordinating with investment banking and global markets desks, and working closely with external lawyers, trustees, and professional service providers to resolve complex cross-border legal, tax, and structuring matters.
Mr Yong brings entrepreneurial leadership and governance experience, having served as CEO of an investment holding company and as a registered Independent Director with the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID). He holds an Honours degree from York University (Canada) and the SMU–SID Directorship Programme qualification. He is also a certified family office adviser from Wealth Management Institute.

David Liaw

Managing Director - Global Multi Asset Portfolio Manager

David Liaw is a senior investment professional with more than 20 years of experience in private banking, institutional advisory, and family office portfolio management across Asia. He specializes in multi-asset portfolio strategy, asset allocation, and investment advisory for ultra-high-net-worth families and institutional clients.
Mr Liaw previously served as Chief Investment Officer at Yingxin International Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based single-family office managing the assets of a Chinese entrepreneurial family. In this role, he oversaw approximately USD 100 million in assets under management, developing investment strategy and portfolio allocation across both traditional asset classes (equities, bonds, FX) and alternative investments including private equity, venture opportunities, and digital assets. He also worked with global advisors such as PwC and private banks to implement governance and operational frameworks aligned with the requirements of the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
Prior to this, Mr Liaw spent more than 15 years at Citibank IPB Singapore, where he served as Head of Portfolio Counselor / Client Advisory, leading a team of investment specialists supporting relationship managers in delivering portfolio advisory solutions to high-net-worth clients across Asia. Earlier in his career, he held institutional investment roles with Franklin Templeton and securities firms in Taiwan, working with institutional investors on portfolio strategies and financial products.
Mr Liaw holds a Master of Commerce from the University of Wollongong (Australia) and a Bachelor of Economics from Ming Chuan University (Taiwan). He also completed the Citi-Wharton Global Wealth Institute Program in 2018. He is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese, and has extensive experience advising Asian families on cross-border wealth and investment portfolios.

Kerryn Tay

Senior Portfolio Manager & Executive Director

Ms Kerryn Tay is responsible for the day-to-day management and performance of client investment portfolios. She conducts market research, manages asset allocation, selects securities, and monitors portfolio performance and risk. She engages with clients to ensure portfolios align with their objectives and regulatory requirements, prepares regular reviews, and contributes to investment committee discussions and product development.
Ms Tay has more than 25 years of experience in investment, hedge funds, and equity research across multiple sectors and markets. She was most recently a Director at CLSA Capital Partners, where she spent 12 years with a private equity fund focused on impact investing. In this role, she worked closely with portfolio companies in China, Australia, Indonesia, and India to support sustainable growth and long-term value creation. Earlier in her career, Ms Kerryn held senior equity research positions at a hedge fund, CIMB-GK Securities, and GK Goh Stockbrokers
Ms Tay graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of London.

Keith Tan

Keith Tan plays a critical role in driving the firm's strategic initiatives, managing high-performing teams, and delivering sophisticated investment solutions to meet client needs.
Mr Tan brings over 20 years of investment management and advisory experience within the wealth and asset management sectors, having held key roles at prestigious institutions such as Credit Suisse Private Banking, UOB Private Banking, and the Bank of Singapore. His expertise lies in understanding complex client requirements and translating them into actionable investment strategies.
With deep knowledge of private banking and asset management products, including structured products, real estate private equity funds, and private credit funds, Mr Tan combines strategic foresight, market expertise, and a commitment to operational excellence to drive innovation and achieve sustainable growth for the company.

Philip Tse

Finance / Admin / Compliance Support

Philip Tse provides valuable expertise in administration and finance functions.
Mr Tse has more than 30 years of regional CFO experience in both Fortune 500 MNCs and startups. He has covered the full suite of setup activities, whilst leveraging on his accounting, financial planning, system, HR and administration experiences. He started his FP&A journey in large MNCs for 16 years. He was formerly SEA Finance Director of LingoAce, and has worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers, Marks & Spencer, Polo Ralph Lauren, Time Warner, and Bacardi-Martini.
Mr Tse holds a Master of Business (e-Commerce) from Curtin University of Technology, Bachelor of Arts in Accountancy from City University of Hong Kong. He is a Fellow of ACCA Association of Chartered Certified Accountants since 2000.

Andrew Putra Kusuma

Head of IT & AI

Andrew Putra Kusuma oversees the IT capabilities at GenerationsAM.
Mr Kusuma is owner of an IP patent in anti-money laundering system, using AI and machine learning techniques. His experience lies in research on factor investing using deep learning techniques for constructing and optimising financial portfolios. He recently contributed to the design and development of a software system for issuing and distributing of digital vouchers for proper inventory and accountability. His previous work includes SAP Asia and the NTU Cybersecurity Lab.
Mr Kusuma graduated with First Class Honours in Computer Science from Nanyang Technological University (NTU).

Daniel Koh

Daniel Koh brings nearly 40 years of public service dedicated to protecting families, safeguarding vulnerable individuals, and ensuring fairness in the justice system.
A former Family Justice Court judge, Mr Koh has guided families through some of life’s most sensitive and complex moments — from estate and probate matters to mental capacity and guardianship decisions — always with clarity, compassion, and sound judgment.
Beyond the bench, Mr Koh has held senior leadership roles at the Attorney-General’s Chambers, prosecuting complex financial and white-collar crime cases, and served as Singapore’s first Public Guardian, where he helped establish protections for those unable to manage their own affairs under the Mental Capacity Act. He is also a respected international speaker on guardianship and capacity law.
Today, Mr Koh works closely with families to provide trusted counsel on estate planning, mental capacity matters, dispute resolution, and succession issues, helping clients navigate difficult decisions with confidence and peace of mind.

Desmond Tang

Desmond Tang has over 30 years of experience in global real estate investment and management. He was the founding CEO of Straits Real Estate (the real estate private equity arm of the Straits Trading Company) and built the company to an AUM of approximately S$2.2 billion. Prior to that, Mr Tang was Managing Director and Co-Head of Alpha Investment Partners (the private fund management arm of Keppel) and a Director of Fund Management with GRA (Singapore) Private Limited, the Asian real estate fund management arm of Prudential Financial. He also co-founded GrowthPath Capital Private Limited with operations in both Singapore and Taipei.
An alumnus of the National University of Singapore, Mr Tang graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Real Estate. He also holds a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University.

Angel Wu

CFA, CFP, FRM
Angel Wu brings three decades of expertise in banking, with a distinguished focus on private banking across Asia and the Middle East. Most recently, she served as the Head of the Product Management Group for the Greater China & North Asia market at Bank of Singapore (Hong Kong), while also holding the role of Alternate Country Executive for the branch. Her extensive career also includes serving as the Regional Head of Products & Solutions (Asia & Middle East) at ABN AMRO Private Banking, alongside various senior leadership roles in structured products and investment advisory across the region.
A graduate of the University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Economics, Ms Wu holds the CFA, CFP, and FRM designations. She began her career as an equity analyst and strategist, gaining experience at firms including Mees Pierson Securities (Asia) and Citibank Private Banking. She is also a thought leader on structured products, having authored "The Markets in Asia" chapter in Structured Products Evolution & Analysis, and co-authored Asian Structured Products for the CFA Institute Research Foundation. Her influence on industry standards is further reflected in her tenure as an online lecturer for the Hong Kong Certified Private Wealth Professional (CPWP) Certification Programme in 2021 and 2022.
Drawing on her deep executive expertise, Ms Wu has been actively shaping the next generation of leaders. She currently serves as a mentor for both the University of East London and CFA UK, providing guidance to emerging professionals, and advancing global standards within the wealth management community.

Yasushi Yamada

Yasushi Yamada has over 20 years of experience in real estate fund management and investment advisory across Southeast Asia and Japan. He is the Chief Executive Officer of ShCup International Pte. Ltd., a Singapore-based firm specialising in cross-border real estate investments and asset securitisation.
Previously, Mr Yamada was Chief Operating Officer of List Holdings Singapore, where he drove business development and platform set-ups for real estate fund management and brokerage in Southeast Asia. He also held senior roles at CBRE Japan, Tokio Marine Property Investment Management, and Mori Building, focusing on investment advisory, fund development, and international real estate marketing.
Mr Yamada holds a Master of Business Administration in Corporate Strategy from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Hitotsubashi University.
